Float4FromLogicDrivers

Class Documentation

Edit documentation

A vector driver that builds a four-component vector from float drivers. Each component, or lane, X, Y, Z and W has a selector that names the driver that fills the lane, and a modifier that turns the value of the driver into the value of the lane.

On every evaluation:

  1. The result starts at (0, 0, 0, 0).
  2. Each driver that a selector names is evaluated once, for the source.
  3. Each lane gets the value of the driver that its selector names. When the lane has a modifier, the lane gets the result of the modifier instead.
Selector value Driver that fills the lane
0 None. The lane stays 0.
1 XDriver
2 YDriver
4 ZDriver
8 WDriver

One driver can fill several lanes, and each lane applies its own modifier. Every modifier receives the value of the driver itself: the modifiers of the lanes do not chain.

The modifier of lane X. It receives the value of the driver that lane X selects, and its result is the X component. Without it, the X component is the value of the driver.
