An int driver that returns the gear index of the source: the number that HasGearDynamicMaterialBoolDriver compares with its mGearIndex. The index is signed and can be -1.

The source can be any game object that has gear. For a source without gear, and without a source, the driver returns 0.

Notes

• Shipped data feeds it into SpellDataNamedValueFloatDriver.SpellLevel, so that the gear picks the entry of a spell data value. Skin overlays also compare it in a FloatComparisonMaterialDriver, and a skin's animation graph picks run clips by gear with it in a SwitchIntClipData.
