Class Documentation

Edit documentation

A contextual action that requests an audio mix state. When the action runs, it writes a request into the linked AudioDynamicMixState: the current game time and a duration. The mix state manager then decides, on its next update, whether that state becomes the current one. AudioDynamicMixState describes the rules.

The action does nothing and fails when MixState links no loaded object.

The client runs the action from ordinary situations and emotes, on the unit's own data and on GlobalContextualActionData, and from the situations that an audio event type of the Cac family runs. A chained situation does not run it (see IContextualAction).

Applies the state at once, without waiting for the manager's update. This skips the priority order and the minimum hold of the current state. The client then clears the requests of all states, so the state stays for its own minimum hold only.

Duration of the request, in seconds of game time. When it is unset, the request uses the DefaultLingerTime of the linked state.
