Class Documentation

Edit documentation

A float driver that returns the distance from the source to the nearest enemy lane minion, as a fraction of a range. The result is 0 at minDistance or closer, 1 at maxDistance or farther, and rises in a straight line between them. When no minion counts, the result is 1.

It is the minion counterpart of DistanceToPlayerMaterialFloatDriver, with these differences:

  • Only lane minions count. Jungle monsters, pets and wards do not.
  • Only minions of the team opposing the source count, and dead minions never count.
  • The distance is measured on the ground plane. Height is ignored.

The source can be any game object. Without a source the driver returns 0.

Examples:
  • Shipped Vayne skins test it together with the distance to enemy champions, with a range of 0 to 4000, to switch a mask effect.
